MARGAO: Mapusa Dream Crushers crushed 108 Delite Titans by 9 wickets; DNS / VMJ’s Rookies defeated Commonwealth Fountainheads by 3 wickets with 2 balls to spare in a thrilling encounter; Desserts N’More Avengers got the better of Priority Titans by 4 wickets in the floodlit match, on the 9th Match-day of the 7th edition of Rajdeep Builders Sarsangan Super Series Cricket 2024-25 at MCC Ground.
Match 1: Mapusa Dream Crushers vs 108 Delite Titans
Put in to bat, the 108 Delite Titans were bundled out for 95 in 19.4 overs, with Raj Prabhudesai making 19, Amogh Agshikar 14, Vidheya Kossambe 12 and Nikhil Virginkar 12. Paarth Kossambe with 2-3, Kaushal Hattangadi with 2-15, Mahesh Churi with 2-15, Kritin Bhangui with 2-19, Durgesh Prabhugaonkar 1-8 and Vipul Deshprabhu 1-9 were the wicket takers.
In reply, Mapusa Dream Crushers reached the target comfortably making 96-1 in 8.2 overs, with contributions from Kaushal Hattangadi 36, Sarvesh Kamat 29, Anish Mahambrey 19 not out. Viraj Puranik picked the lone wicket to fall.
The following individual prizes were awarded: Kaushal Hattangadi got Drogaria Colvalcar Man-of-the Match award, Sarvesh Kamat collected Priority Constructions Best Batter award and Kritin Bhangu picked Wakao Best Bowler award.
Match 2: DNS – VMJ’s Rookies vs Commonwealth Fountainheads
Electing to bat first, Commonwealth Fountainheads put up an imposing 166/6 in 20 overs with Ameya Rajadhyaksh top scoring with 36. Aditya Prabhugaonkar with 35 and Laxmikant Kurade with 32 kept up the tempo with aggressive batting. Balkrishna Hodarkar, Pratham Kossambe, Sanat Kamat and Ved Mahambre picked a wicket each.
In reply, the DNS / VMJ’s Rookies batters Rajaram Kundaikar (31) Pratham Kossambe (32) led the charge before the skipper Ved Mahambre blasted 36 in 19 balls to take them on the cusp of victory. Sahil Neurenkar with a useful 10 including a 6 in the last over took the Rookies home to 167-7 in 19.4 overs, as they scored 12 runs in the last over. Aditya Prabhugaonkar, Saish Hegde, Pratap Prabhugaonkar picked 2 wickets apiece but their efforts went in vain.

Match 3: Priority Titans vs Desserts n More Avengers
Put in to bat under flood lights, Priority Titans were dismissed for 103 in 19.4 overs with only Rauji Kakodkar (23), Animesh Prabhugaonkar (21), Sudin Kamat (20) and Sahish Mahambrey (10) reaching double digits. Sarin Pai Kane was the pick of the bowlers scalping 2-13. Akhil Nadkarni picked 2-14 while Sankalp Bhat, Samruddh Hegde Desai, Vaibhav Kadkade and Siddhesh Prabhu Alvencar picked a wicket apiece.
Chasing 104 to win, the Desserts n more Avengers reached the target in 17.4 overs making 104-4 with Sanat Prabhudesai making 29, Aditya Dalal 22, Sandip Thali 16 and Sarin Pai Kane 11 not out. Animesh Prabhugaonkar was a standout performance picking 3-4 while Sudin Kamat picked 1-19.
