Fatorda: Ishant Tivrekar’s century was the highlight of Goan Colts’ crushing victory over Hubli Cricket Academy in the Late Radhabai Vasant Kamat Rolling Trophy U14 Tournament organised by Sparkling Stars Association.
Player of the match, Ishan scored 100 runs to power Goan Colts to a formidable total of 267/8 in 40 overs. Pranjul Yadav remained unbeaten on 41. Other notable contributions came from Kushal Satardekar (37) and Rish Pavaskar (24). For Hubli CA, Sufiyan Budhihal was the chief wicket-taker with figures of 4/45.
Chasing the huge target, Hubli CA failed to get anywhere near it and folded up for 73 runs. Narendra Gouda (10) was the lone batter to get into double digits. Goan Colts bowlers shared the wickets with Bhavesh M, Samarth Dhulapkar, Shaurya Chodankar and Vansh Kurtarkar picking up 2 wickets each.
