Fatorda: AIM Cricket Academy beat Goan Colts by 53 runs on the opening day of the Late Radhabai Vasant Kamat Rolling Trophy U14 Tournament organised by Sparkling Stars Association.
Batting first AIM CA posted a total of 179/7 in 40 overs (Sanchit Gawade 62, Samarth Sakpal 35, Piyush Sawant 17; Janardhan Thakur 3/42, Anurag Bahadur 2/33).
In reply, Goan Colts were all out for 126 (Ishant Tivrekar 27 not out, Pramay Prabhu 27, Janardhan Thakur 23; Nanthan Sawant 3/08, Mubarak Tadpatri 3/26, Piyush 2/10). Piyush Sawant (17 & 2/10) was named player of the match.
