Goa Cricket Association confirms Yashasvi Jaiswal’s Goa switch pending NOC from Mumbai Cricket Association

Porvorim: Goa Cricket Association has announced that Team India star Yashasvi Jaiswal will join the State team for the 2025-26 Indian domestic season. The GCA press release also states that the 23-year-old will lead the Goa team.

Jaiswal is, however, yet to submit his ‘No Objection Certificate’ (NOC) from Mumbai Cricket Association to complete the necessary formalities for his transfer.

GCA secretary Shamba Naik Dessai revealed that efforts are underway to bring another international cricketer to join Goa Ranji Trophy team for the upcoming season. “This initiative is part of the Goa Cricket Association’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the team and ensuring that fans in Goa are treated to high-quality cricket. Goa Cricket Association is excited about the upcoming season and looks forward to seeing the team thrive under the leadership of Jaiswal,” highlighted the press release.
