Panaji: Taleigao Tigers and Ashvi SC Khandola beat Madanant Sports Club and Khandola Youth respectively, in the quarter-finals of Betim United Trophy 2023.
Taleigao Tigers knocked out Madanant Sports Club by 62 runs in an emphatic manner as they bowled out Madanant for 122 runs in 15.5 overs after posting a huge total of 184/8 (Gourav Desai 49, Saif Ali 40).
Taleigao Tigers allrounder Manish Kakode (26 off 21 balls & 3/14) was named man of the match.
In the other match, Ashvi SC Khandola batted first and put up a decent total of 148/9 (Ajay Shirodkar 39, Sarvesh Solapurkar 26; Pralay Gaude 4/19).
In reply, Khandola Youth were all out for 125 runs in 18 overs with man-of-the match Tango Naik bagging 5 wickets for 20 runs off his four overs as Ashvi SC Khandola won by 23 runs.
