Panaji: Pilerne Cricket Club and Nageshi Youth continued their winning run at the Betim United Trophy 2023 with victory over Dhadsakal Stars and Sangolda Warrior respectively.
Nageshi Youth beat Sangolda Warrior by 4 wickets as they chased Sangolda’s 118/9, reaching 121/6 in 16.4 overs. Nageshi’s Babulal Pathan was named man of the match for his crucial return of 4/16 off four overs.
In the other match, Pilerne Cricket Club got the better of Dhadsakal Stars in a close contest where they chased down 142/7, reaching 143/7 in 19.3 overs. Pilerne’s Pramod Naik was adjudged man of the match for his 54-run knock.
