ARLEM: Ultracon Madgaon Royals registered a convincing win over MLT Cricket Club by 7 wickets and 17 balls to spare on the 6th day of the 7th edition of Rajdeep Builders Sarsangan Super Series Cricket 2024-25 at Arlem Cricket Ground. In the second match, Priority Titans got the better of 108 Delite Titans by 27 runs in the afternoon encounter.
Match 1: Ultracon Madgaon Royals vs MLT Cricket Club
Electing to field first, the Royals bowler were sent on a leather hunt by the attacking stroke play of the skipper Adv Sachin Sardesai who blasted 35 (21 balls, 7 x 4s) helping his team MLT to put on 44 in 26 balls for the opening wicket. Atchut Naik Dalal (32) and Nityay Kuncolienkar (23) helped the MLT to 92-2 at half way mark. However, Royals came back strongly to restrict MLT to 147-9 in 20 overs with only Kauntey Shenvi (18) reaching double figures. Kartik Hattangadi, Siddesh Desai, Rohan Audi, Megh Netravalkar & Nikit Naik Dalal picked a wicket each to support Saeeil Kossambe who picked 2-4.
In reply, the Ultracon Madgaon Royals were given a rousing start by their captain Damodar Pai Patnekar 36 (25 balls, 4 x 4s, 1 x 6s) and Nikit Naik Dalal 35 (33 balls, 3 x 4s) putting on 78 runs in the 10th over. Megh Netravalkar (30), Kartik Hattangadi (11) and Mahendra Audi (18 no) were the other notable contributors as the Royals chased down the target to reach 153-3 in 17.1 overs and win by 7 wickets and 17 balls to spare. Nityay Kuncolienkar with 2-15 and Kauntey Shenvi with 1-25 were the wicket takers. Aditya Prabhugaonkar, owner of My Voyage Management & Consultancy was the Chief guest for the inaugural ceremony in the morning.

Match 2: Priority Titans vs 108 Delite Titans
Electing to bat first, Priority Titans got off to a rollicking start with the openers Sahish Mahambrey 38 (28 balls, 3 x 4s, 2 x 6s) and Deval Karmali 37 (15 balls, 6 x 4s, 1 x 6s) putting on 71 in 6.3 overs. Swapnil Nachinolkar (15), Granthik Buyao (20), Rauji Kakodkar (38) and Animesh Prabhugaonakr (29) kept up the tempo to help the Priority Titans amass a huge 195-3 in 20 overs. Krishnakant Hegde Desai, Amogh Agshikar and Abhijeet Bhandare were the successful bowlers.
In reply, 108 Delite Titans lost some quick wickets that of Viraj Puranik (6), Abhijit Bhandare (12), Sudhir Kenkre (13), Vidheya Kossambe (18) to slide to 68-4 in the 8th over. However Nikhil Virgincar 37 (29 balls, 2 x 6s) and Avinash Kossambe 36 (28 balls, 4 x 4s) played aggressive cricket to take the fight to the opposition. But two quick run outs and only Aditya Tendulkar making 16 lower down the order meant the 108 Delite Titans could manage only 168-7 in 20 overs, giving a 27 run victory to Priority Titans. Granthik Buyao with 2-25 and Nilesh Prabhudesai with 1-6 were the successful bowlers.

All the 10 participating teams will be playing on the 7th day on Wednesday 25th December with Ultracon Madgaon Royals taking on Commonwealth Fountainheads and MLT Cricket Club taking on Vimson Panjim Powerplay at MCC Ground during the day while Priority Titans will face DNS / VMJ’s Rookies and 108 Delite Titans take on Desserts n More Avengers at Arlem Ground. The showpiece event of the day would be the floodlight match between SinQ Rangers and Mapusa Dream Crushers at MCC Ground with the match to start at 6:30 pm.
