Porvorim: Goa will begin their campaign in the BCCI Senior Women’s T20 Trophy on 19th October against Himachal Pradesh in Nagpur.
Led by the experienced batter Sanjula Naik, Goa boast of a strong team that includes India pacer Shikha Pandey, experienced all-rounder Sunanda Yetrekar and wicketkeeper batter Vinavi Gurav. Moreover, the inclusion of Tarannum Pathan and Priyanka Koushal will give the team much needed depth. A lot is also expected from batter and vice-captain Purvaja Verlekar.
Goa will face Kerala on 20th October, before taking on Chhattisgarh on 22nd October, Rajasthan on 26th October, Uttarakhand on 28th October and round off the league stage with a clash with Manipur on 30th October.
