PANAJI: Manas Panjim Gymkhana, Chowgule Sports Club and Dempo Cricket Club won their respective matches in the opening round of GCA’s Goa Premier League.
Manas Panjim Gymkhana registered an emphatic 162-run victory over Priority Constructions MCC at Panjim Gymkhana ground.
Chowgule Sports Club beat Desserts N’More Geno SC by 8 wickets at GCA ground, Sanguem. Dempo CC scored a 4-wicket win against Salgaocar Cricket Club at GCA ground, Porvorim.
The second round matches to be played from 11th to 13th March, are as follows: Salgaocar vs Chowgule, Porvorim; Manas Panjim Gymkhana vs Desserts N’More Geno SC, Panaji; Dempo CC vs Priority Constructions MCC, Vasco.
