Porvorim: Vasco Warriors emerged the champions of the inaugural Goa Veterans Cricket League 2023 organised by Goa Veterans Cricket Association at Goa Cricket Association ground.
Vasco defeated Patnekar Warriors by a mere 9 runs in a well-contested final on Sunday.
Vasco Warriors were presented Rs. 50,000 while Patnekar Warriors received Rs. 30,000. Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade, GCA President Vipul Phadke, GCA Secretary Rohan Gauns Dessai, GVCA President Vinod Phadke, GVCA Secretary Sudesh Prabhudesai graced the occasion.
