ARLEM: Saraswat Sports Sangh Charitable Trust’s 7th edition of Goa Sarsangan Priority Veterans Series Cricket Tournament will commence tomorrow, (Sunday) and will conclude on 4th May 2025, at the Arlem Cricket Ground, South Goa.
A total of 4 teams namely: Antruz Aviators of Gomakant Mahambrey and Adv. Satish Pilgaonkar, Mapusa Dream Crushers of Rajesh Colvalcar, Delite Titans of Vinayak Nayak & Vallabh Pai and Ultracon Madgaon Royals of Ashesh Pai Dukle & Nagnath Shanbhag; feature in Sarsangan Priority Veterans Series Cricket.
The 2-month long tournament to be played on Sundays and Public Holidays at Arlem Cricket ground, consists of 80 players picked at the auction. Each of the teams play the other teams 3 times each in round robin league format T20 matches in A2 T20 leather and Everest Sports specially designed apparels by Desserts n More with the top 2 teams playing the final on 4th May 2025, after a gruelling round of league matches.
Noted architect Bhaskar Khandeparkar will be the Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony while Police Inspector of Vasco Police Station, Kapil Nayak will be the Guest of Honour tomorrow. Each match will also feature trophies for Drogaria Colvalcar Man of the Match award, Priority Constructions Best Batter award and Wakao Best Bowler award.
