A century by Snehal Kauthankar (135 not out) and Manthan Khutkar’s 95 put Goa on track for a huge score against Mizoram on the first day of their plate group Ranji Trophy 2024-25 match at Motera-Ahmedabad on Wednesday.
Electing to bat first, Goa ended the day on 322/3 with Snehal and Deepraj Gaonkar (50 not out) at the crease while their unbeaten partnership was already worth 112 runs.
Earlier, Manthan was out five runs short of his second century of the season. The talented young left-handed opener struck 11 boundaries and 2 sixes. Manthan and Snehal, who hit 14 boundaries, added 151 runs for the third wicket.
