ARLEM: SinQ Rangers crushed 108 Delite Titans by 9 wickets and 14 balls to spare while Priority Titans breezed past MLT Cricket Club by 7 wickets and 5 balls to spare on the 15th day of the Rajdeep Builders Sarsangan Super Series at Arlem Ground.
Match 1: SinQ Rangers vs 108 Delite Titans
Electing to bat first, 108 Delite Titans put on an imposing 179/7 in 20 overs, thanks to Mayur Kamat’s 37, Amogh Agshikar’s 37, Avinash Kossambe’s 35 and Dhruv Bhende’s 29. Mohit Kamat with 2-14, Siddhesh Shetye 2-31, Gomakant Mahambrey 1-19 and Shiraj Pai Khot 1-28 were the successful bowlers.
In reply, SinQ Rangers reached the target making 180/1 in 17.4 overs thanks to Sandeep Thali’s 36, Sanket Prabhudesai’s 36, Amogh Namshikar’s 35 and Kaushik Pai Fondekar’s 28 no. Dhruv Bhende picked the consolation wicket.
The following individual prizes were awarded: Kaushik Pai Fondekar won Drogaria Colvalcar Man-of-the Match, Mayur Kamat collected Priority Constructions Best Batter and Mohit Kamat picked Wakao Best Bowler.
Match 2: Priority Titans vs MLT Cricket Club
Electing to bat first in a must win match, MLT Cricket Club lost their top 4 batters with the score reading 36-4 in the 7th over. However, a 49 run partnership in 31 balls between Saeesh Prabhudesai (38) and Rakesh Mallya (30) helped MLT to reach 85 in the 12th over. Kauntey Shenvi’s 40 (22 balls, 4 x 4s, 1 x 6s) helped MLT Cricket Club to post a competitive 155/7 in 20 overs. Animesh Prabhugaonkar 2-16, Sudin Kamat 2-26, Granthik Buyao 1-19 and Smitesh Divekar 1-25 were the successful bowlers.
In reply, Priority Titans, who lost an early wicket, were steadied by a 67 run partnership in 48 balls, between Sudin Kamat (35) and Sahish Mahambrey (38). An unbeaten 53 run partnership in 32 balls between Granthik Buyao (26) and Akshay Dalvi (28) helped the Priority Titans reach the target of 156/3 in 19.1 overs. Nityay Kuncolienkar with 2-20 and Siddhesh Bodke with 1-21 were the successful bowlers. The loss crushed the hopes of MLT Cricket Club of making it to the semi-finals.
