Porvorim: Goa’s talented young all-rounder Mohit Redkar has been selected in the South Zone team for Prof DB Deodhar Trophy limited overs cricket tournament to be held in Puducherry.
Along with off-spinner Mohit, his Goa Ranji Trophy team-mate Arjun Tendulkar has also been included in a strong South Zone side captained by Mayank Agarwal.
The inter-zonal one-dayers tournament has been revived after a gap of four years and will be held from 24th July to 3rd August.
The South Zone selection committee meeting was held on Tuesday evening at Goa Cricket Association premises here. The team for the first three matches is as follows.
