Porvorim: India pacer and Goa’s experienced all-rounder Shikha Pandey will lead the South Zone team at the Sr. Women’s Inter-Zonal T-20 Trophy to be held from 24th November to 4th December 2023 in Lucknow.
Under the leadership of Goa Cricket Association Secretary Rohan Gauns Dessai, who is the Convenor of South Zone; the Goan players have got consistent opportunities at the zonal level in the recent times.
Apart from Shikha, the South Zone team also includes Purvaja Verlekar; while Tarannum Pathan is amongst the reserves. GCA’s women’s cricket incharge Sarvesh Naik has been named the coach. Goa’s Riya Chinalkar (Performance Analyst) and Vaibhavi Dessai (Manager) are also a part of the support staff.
