VASCO: In a major boost to cricket infrastructure in Vasco, Goa Cricket Association (GCA) today inaugurated six new net practice pitches at the Vasco-Chicalim Ground. The newly developed facilities include five turf pitches and one cement pitch, aimed at providing quality training infrastructure for budding cricketers in the region.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by GCA President Mahesh Dessai, Secretary Tulshidas Shetye, Vice President Paresh Fadte, Joint Secretary Anant Naik, Treasurer Abdul Majid, Member Mahesh Behki, Former President Vipul Phadke, BCCI Curator Suryakant Naik, along with coordinators and members of various cricket clubs.
Vasco-based cricket clubs were present during the inauguration ceremony, and the GCA Managing Committee acknowledged their continuous support and cooperation in making the initiative a reality. The association expressed gratitude to all the Vasco clubs for standing united for the betterment and growth of cricket in the region.
The newly-developed facilities are among the finest practice pitches created for players in Vasco and will greatly help local cricketers train on quality wickets, enhance their skills, and prepare effectively.
