MARGAO: The 7th edition of Desserts N’More Sarsangan Junior Cricket Series will be played from 23rd to 31st December 2024 at Arlem Cricket Ground.
Two teams – Geno Dragons and Desserts N’More Avengers, will be in action in the round robin league format of 6 matches, some of which will be 2-inning contests in the Christmas holidays. The junior series aims at discovering new talent and acclimatise the players to the rigours of long duration matches.
The Geno Dragons team consists of Saish Hegde (captain), Atchut Naik Dalal (vice-captain), Smit Shenvi Desai, Vismay Falgaonkar, Sahil Neurenkar, Pranav Nagarsekar, Anurag Borker, Ishan Hodarkar, Pratham Prabhugaonkar, Om Keny, Suyash Shenvi Sangaonkar, Avinash Sakhardande, Shriyans Prabhu Alvenkar, Ved Pai, Sanat Prabhudesai, Hrishi Wagle , Shlok G. Sinai Borkar and a young lady Savnee Mhambrey.
The Desserts N’More Avengers team comprises of Paarth Kossambe (captain), Aditya Dalal (vice – captain), Kaushal Churi, Shardul Kenkre, Adeep Prabhu Miskin, Pramay Prabhu, Rajat Dalal, Aditya Tendulkar, Ayan Borkar, Kunal Kunkolienkar, Aaheesh Prabhugaonkar, Shitiz Kamat, Keshav R. S. Kundaikar, Kush Pai Raiker, Swarsh Bale, Darsh Pai, Aarush Kulkarni and a young lady Vidhi Bhandare.
The matches will be played on 23rd, 24, 26, 27, 30 & 31 December in Desserts N’More colored clothing in A2 white leather balls. Besides trophies for the Winning team, best batter, best bowler and man of the match trophies will be awarded for all matches. Kapil Kamat, owner of Tyre Xpress and Unique Cars, Margao and well known BCCI panel Umpire of Goa, Nitin Roghuvir Pai will be the guest for the inaugural ceremony of Desserts N’More Sarsangan Junior Cricket Series on 23rd December at 9 am at Arlem Ground.
