Ranji Trophy 2025-26: Saurashtra tame Goa for innings victory

Goa suffered their second consecutive loss in Ranji Trophy 2025-26 Elite Group B as Saurashtra scored a thumping innings and 47 runs victory in Rajkot on Wednesday. Goa, who had lost at home to MP in their previous match, slid to the 5th position with 11 points in their kitty.

Karnataka have taken a firm grip on the group with 21 points to their name while Maharashtra are in second place with 18 points followed by MP with 16 points while Saurashtra (13) are placed 4th.

The First Class season now heads for a break for White-ball cricket, and will resume in the fourth week of January 2026 with Goa playing Maharashtra in Pune.
