7TH SARSANGAN CRICKET SUPER SERIES 2024-25 GETS OFF TO A BRIGHT START

Arlem: Sarsangan Cricket Super Series grows bigger and naturally better with more teams to entertain the Saraswat cricket fraternity as the 2024-25 season got off to a bright start on a gloriously sunny morning at the Arlem cricket ground here on Sunday.

Organised by Saraswat Sports Sangh Charitable Trust, the 7th edition of Sarsangan Cricket Super Series will witness 10 teams in action including three new franchises.

The opening day kicked off with the launch of the team jerseys in the presence of Chief Guest Rajesh Amonkar, businessman and Secretary of Century Cricket Club; along with team owners and representatives.

Addressing the gathering, Chairman of
Saraswat Sports Sangh Charitable Trust –
Adv Satish Pilgaonkar highlighted the trust reposed by the team owners in the Saraswat Sports Sangh as the driving factor behind the annual tournament.

Organising Committee member Gomakant Mahambrey urged the players, 180 in all, to be supportive in general as the community-building initiative reigns at the heart of the event.

In turn, some of the team owners interacting with media partners www.thegoancricketer.com – hailed the passionate endeavour of Mahambrey in particular as the key reason for them to join the fray and spark the growth of Sarsangan, which found it difficult to put up two teams in 2019, into the premium brand of Saraswat cricket in Goa!
