Margao: Dempo Cricket Club defeated Chowgule Sports Club by 4 wickets to enter the semi-finals of 3rd Chandrakant Karapurkar Trophy T20 tournament at MCC ground.
Electing to bat first, Chowgule were restricted to 114/9 due to disciplined bowling effort by Dempo bowlers.
A 60-run partnership between Vinesh Satarkar (49) and Jagdhish Patil (12 not out) for the last wicket, helped Chowgule to reach the modest total.
In reply, Dempo achieved the target in 17.2 overs with Prathamesh Gawas (61) being the top scorer.
